Mr. Trump…help me understand the last 18 months. I heard you, I watched you and I discussed much of what you had to say. Your message is changing hour by hour and I wonder what your supporters are thinking now, tomorrow and in the months to come. You said you’re not a politician, but you seem to be adapting quickly. Tell your constituents one thing, get elected, do something and say something else…..sounds like political-speak to me.
Mr. Trump, many Americans are mad as hell, scared, confused, and totally discouraged. We may be experiencing a drought of civility, of listening to each other, of respecting our differences and plain ole disrespect for anyone not like me. But the sky’s will open, sanity reign and the drought end.
This is not the country I want to live in and the truth be told I truly don’t believe it is. In my country the streets are paved with hope not anger. In my country we never forget that chaos always precedes real change. In my country its citizens always stand on the side of love. In my country we all work together, celebrate our differences and look damn hard for the similarities that make us all one human family. And when we can’t find them, Mr. Trump, we look harder and don’t stop until we do find
For the last few weeks I’ve been telling anyone who will listen that “in Gods eyes we are all the same.” Prove me right , not wrong Mr. President-elect. I didn’t vote for you, but I’m willing to respect you if you do the right thing. In my country, everyone is welcomed. Everyone!
